Design
A trackball mouse with the ball on the thumb side, operated with your hand resting on it. The body measures about 135.31 × 98.92 × 45.55mm and weighs about 125.5g. Since you move the cursor with the ball instead of moving the body, its structure is easy to place even on desks with little room to move a mouse. Its look also pairs easily with a black desk setup.
Connection and 3-device support
According to the sales page, it supports 2.4GHz connection via the included USB receiver as well as Bluetooth 5.0 / Bluetooth 3.0, and can connect to 3 devices simultaneously. This is worth checking if you want to use the same mouse across multiple devices such as a computer and a tablet. The range is listed as up to about 10m. Supported OSes listed are Windows 8.0 / Windows 10 / Windows Vista, Mac OS X 10.4 or later, Android 4.3 or later, and iOS 8.0 or later.
DPI, buttons, and quiet design
DPI can be switched among 5 levels: 200 / 400 / 800 / 1200 / 1600. It has 7 buttons including forward/back, but the sales page states that the forward/back buttons are not supported on Mac. It has a quiet design, and the sales page states that it passed a 5-million-click test.
Power and included items
It runs on one AA battery. The sales page lists battery life of up to 18 months, but this may vary depending on usage conditions. Included items are the wireless mouse, a USB receiver, and a Japanese instruction manual, and the warranty is listed as 1 year.
Points to check before buying
A thumb trackball feels different from a typical mouse that you move to control the cursor. If you are new to trackballs, it may take some time to get used to. Also, the forward/back buttons are not supported on Mac, so check this in advance if you plan to use it with a Mac. Check the sales page for the latest prices, stock, and coupons.
