The manufacturer lists supported OSes as Windows 10, Windows 11 or later, macOS 11 or later, iPadOS 14 or later, ChromeOS, Linux, and Android 9.0 or later. The operating range is 10m and may vary depending on environment.
Quietness and basic specs
The manufacturer states that click noise is reduced by 90% compared with the previous M170. This is a comparison based on the manufacturer’s measurement conditions and does not mean the mouse makes no sound at all. It uses optical tracking at 1000dpi and has 3 buttons with a scroll wheel (no tilt function).
Battery and included items
It runs on one AA battery, which comes pre-installed. Battery life is listed as up to 18 months but varies with usage. Included items are the mouse, 1 × AA battery (pre-installed), a warranty card, and warranty terms, and the warranty period is 2 years. The release date is June 1, 2023.
Points to check before buying
The M240GR has a simple 3-button, 1000dpi configuration, so if you value multi-button operation such as forward/back buttons or DPI switching, another model may suit you better. Also, since no USB receiver is included, it cannot be used with devices that do not support Bluetooth. Check the sales page for the latest prices, stock, and coupons.
